Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu.

We would like to welcome you to the website of IQRA Islamic School. We would also like to thank the families of IQRA Islamic School for their support and encouragement and would like to welcome the new students and parents to the community IQRA Islamic School.

Since IQRA Islamic School first opened its doors in September 1998, it continues to provide for its students “Quality Education & Personal Excellence” as the school’s mission statement indicated. We at IQRA always explore innovative ways of improving students’ academic progress and enhancing their moral values. We believe that integrating modern theories in teaching and learning with practice will make our teaching practices more meaningful. An effective way of making our teaching practices meaningful is to provide an environment in which students can develop a positive self-concept that will enable them to become self confident and develop positive values.

We at IQRA value the importance of the parents role in improving their children's academic achievements and personal growth. All parents want their children to become successful and caring adults. Therefore, we encourage you to work with our hardworking staff as we set and achieve the very best for each and every one of our students. According to research findings, the children of parents who participate in school activities tend to achieve higher marks in tests and develop positive experiences at school. Some benefits that have been identified that measure parental involvement in education includes: higher test scores, long-term academic achievements, positive attitudes and improved behavior. Together we could help our students gain the above benefits and become productive members of society.

We would like to recognize the outstanding achievements of our dedicated staff and hardworking students in all areas of Arabic, Qur’an & Islamic studies, academics, sports and personal growth. We would also like to thank the highly dedicated and committed Board of IQRA Islamic School, as well as the Parents’ Auxiliary Committee, for their extraordinary support, encouragement and guidance.

We finally ask Allah (SWT) to bless our efforts in striving to allow IQRA Islamic school to continue to provide “Quality Education & Personal Excellence” for our students for many generations to come Insha-Allah.
