Iqra Islamic School has been in operation for over 10 years now, and of course many students have come and gone. Here, prospective students and their parents can learn about the environment at Iqra School from former students themselves, who have written their own testimonials (Below).

"I only went to Iqra School for three years, but I have to admit that these three years were some of the best years in my life. At first I found it really hard with the my teachers chasing after me to hand in homework and study more, but after a while I noticed my grades improving, and I learned to keep up with my studies all on my own. At the end of my third year I left the school, but I carried along with me all its wonderful memories. Now I live in Jordan, and I go to a school which teaches everything in Arabic. I have found some difficulties, but Iqra School has taught me how to over come them and how to just keep improving. I would like to thank all my wonderful teachers for their great effort and to tell all of the students that still go to Iqra school that you really will never find a school better than this school. If I had a chance to come back, I wouldn’t even stop to think." - Dana Mahmoud, Alumni '07"

"In my nine years in Iqra, I had a fascinating time. There were some ups and downs, but Alhamdulillah I got through them. Now I live in the United Arab Emirates and I’m studying in an international school in the city of Sharjah. Iqra did prepare me somehow to face all the hardships that I’m now facing in my new school. This is my second year, and I find this school tough since it does follow the British Curriculum, but the good thing is that I’ve made good friends and that it’s in a Muslim environment (something that I’m used to). Iqra prepared me and disciplined me in a good Muslim way. I especially enjoyed Iqra in the old days when my father was there and Sami Abu Baker (Allah yirhamo) was there. - Omar Ramadan, Alumni '07"
